Massimiliano Allegri hails the trophy-winning qualities of Cristiano Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo scored the decisive goal in the Supercoppa Italiana final against AC Milan and the bianconeri coach now admits that he is a gem for the team because of his trophy-winning qualities. The Portuguese legend secured his first trophy with Juventus as he sealed the highly-anticipated match with his 61stminute header in Jeddah.

And media last night caught Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating the Supercoppa Italiana victory with legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

During the first few matches after his €112 million transfer to Juventus from Real Madrid at the start of this season, Cristiano Ronaldo looked a bit shaky. But, he then took off and proved why he is the best footballer in the world. He is now holding the top scorer’s place in the Italian Serie A. However, he is now facing a bit of trouble in his personal life after Jasmine Lennard accused him of being a ‘psychopath’.

While talking about Cristiano Ronaldo and his impact on the squad, Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri told Rai Sport “We signed Cristiano Ronaldo because he is decisive and scores big goals,” and then added, “He scored a great goal and moved very well, but the whole team put in a good performance.”

The Italian coach said “There were a few too many counter-attacks – we should’ve had more moves like the [Paulo] Dybala disallowed goal,” and then further added, “Instead, we kept trying to move it around too quickly and allowed Milan some counters, forcing us to sprint back.” He also gave update about Douglas Costa while saying “It was just cramp, he played a good game, these players know what it means to sacrifice.”

The Bianconeri manager then said “I admire above all the spirit and professionalism of this team, as those who came off the bench even if only for a few minutes had the right attitude and determination to make a difference,” and further added, “That’s what we need going forward this season.”
