Although the defensive formation of Juventus seems pretty rock solid in this season, but Massimiliano Allegri will surely be delighted to add an experienced defender like Marcelo in the squad. The Brazilian footballer, on the other hand, is currently out of favor under the new Real Manager Santiago Solari as he recently dropped him from the starting squad.

Besides Cristiano Ronaldo, Marcelo also previously expressed his liking towards Cristiano Ronaldo and openly stated that Real Madrid miss the best player in the world. Marcelo signed an extended contract in September 2017 which will make him stay at the Madrid side till the end of the 2021-22 La Liga football season.

The amazing ‘Cristiano Ronaldo & Marcelo’ partnership

Cristiano Ronaldo recently achieved the Globe Soccer Award in Dubai, although he missed his Ballon d’Or to his former Los Blancos teammate Luka Modric. However, the Portuguese footballer started his Italian journey quite brilliantly as he recently celebrated the Supercoppa Italiana trophy with legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather.

Previously Cristiano Ronaldo has expressed his views on introducing Marcelo in the Juventus squad as he said “I see what they write about James, Bale, Asensio… but, to be honest, Juventus don’t need other players. You should speak to the president. In the future, I don’t know. Marcelo is strong. We open the doors to good players and Marcelo is one of them.”
